Aloo Parantha is the quintessential Punjabi breakfast, and at Swagat Restaurant we make it just like it's done in the homes of Punjab. Fresh whole wheat dough is stuffed with a delicious filling of mashed potatoes seasoned with green chilies, cumin, coriander, and a hint of amchur (dried mango powder).
Each parantha is rolled by hand and cooked on a hot tawa (griddle) with generous amounts of butter until it's golden brown and crispy on the outside while remaining soft and flavorful inside. Served with a dollop of butter, fresh yogurt, and pickle – it's the perfect start to your day. Available from early morning at both our locations.
