Fish Pakora is a classic Indian appetizer that has delighted taste buds for generations. At Swagat Restaurant in Winnipeg, we prepare this dish using fresh fish pieces marinated in a blend of spices including ajwain (carom seeds), red chili, and turmeric.
The fish is then dipped in a seasoned gram flour (besan) batter and deep-fried until golden and crispy. The result is a perfectly crunchy exterior that gives way to tender, flavorful fish. Served with our homemade mint and tamarind chutneys, it's the perfect starter to any meal.
